This book was the best fantasy book I have read in years! The world of the Others is so wonderfully crafted and original. The characters provide a fascinating perspective on what it is to be human. The world Anne Bishop has created contains the most interesting, creative creatures who control the world rather than the humans.

Fans of the paranormal will love Simon Wolfgard and the vampire like character of Vladamir Sanguinati. The story revolves around Meg, a blood prophet who can tell the future when her skin is cut. But with every great power comes consequences. Meg stumbles into the dark and mysterious world of the Others while at the same time trying to figure out who she is. This book is a fantastic addition to the Urban Fantasy world!
